What is the platform for online lessons?

We use Skype for most lessons. Google Hangouts and Whatsapp are available as well.

 

What are the technical requirements for online lessons?

- A laptop or desktop with current Skype or other video conferencing software.

- Video camera (built-in or external), microphone (built-in or external), good speakers or headset.

- Highspeed internet connection with recommended minimum download and upload speed of 5 Mbps. Test your connection speed here: www.speedtest.net.

 

What is the cost of lessons?

30 minute lessons: $35 

60 minute lessons: $70

 

What about different time zones?

Each student can select his or her own time zone in the online portal so that all times will be shown in the student's local time.

 

How does billing work?

Lesson fees are paid in advance in order to reserve your lesson time. Prices are listed in USD. Paypal handles all currency conversions. Please consult the Paypal policy for foreign current transactions. 

 

Are my online transactions secure?

Yes - all financial information (credit card number, bank information, etc) is processed and stored by Paypal, not Musical Collaborations.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations are possible up until 24 hours before the start of a lesson. There is no cancellation fee as long as the lesson is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If the lesson is cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of a lesson or the student misses a lesson without cancelling, the lesson fee is forfeited.
