Terms and Conditions – Lesson Rates and Discounts

Private Lessons

Cost:

$42.00 per 30-minute lesson

$63.00 per 45-minute lesson

$84.00 per 60-minute lesson

The cost of books, materials, and instrument rentals is additional.

Pay-per-lesson:

Weekly lessons are billed monthly at the end of the month.

​

Semi-Annual Plan:

Musical Collaborations provides 31 weekly lessons during the school year billed in two even installments (August and January).

​

In-Home Lessons:

There is a $5.00 per location per lesson Travel Fee for in-home lessons.

**Lessons in Panther Valley are exempt from this Travel Fee.**

​

A parent/guardian or another adult must be present at home for the entirety of all lessons.

​

Recitals:

There are two recitals - December and May - each year.

​

Missed Lessons:

Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

​

Lessons missed due to teacher absence or school closing are not counted toward the student’s 31 tuition plan lessons.

​

Student absences that are not communicated will not be made up.

​

Emergency Cancellation:

Each student is permitted two emergency, last-minute cancellations per academic year.​

​

For example, if your child is sick and unable to go to school on a given day, please let Musical Collaborations know at the same time as you are letting your school know. 

​

Registration Fee:

A $35 annual registration fee per family is required at the time of registration.

Register before June 30 and receive a $10 discount and pay $25 registration fee.

​

Refer a friend:

Refer a friend and we will give you a credit for your registration fee after your friend's first lesson.

​

Additional Discounts:

Families with more than one student or more than one instrument will receive a 10% discount on the 2nd and 3rd students / lessons. 

​

Late Fee: 

Accounts not paid within 10 days of the invoice date are subject to a $10 late fee.
