Teacher of Piano and Voice
Eddie began playing piano at age three (thanks to his grandmother) and began formal lessons a year later. Ever since then, music has been at the forefront of his life. He graduated with honors from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Music (piano major & voice minor) where his primary piano teacher was internationally acclaimed pianist Walter Ponce. Subsequently, Eddie received a Masters in Music Composition from NYU.
Eddie has performed all over the world- from Papermill Playhouse to Prague, from Lincoln Center (where he served as pianist for The Meet The Artist Series for over a decade) to Berlin. His real love is working with singers, and he has had the privilege of working with many Broadway stars including Carolee Carmello, Lilias White, Emily Skinner, Billy Porter and Brad Oscar. Eddie once had the honor of being named “Favorite Piano Accompanist” by the readers of the publication Back Stage. He was also featured in the book “Voice Teachers and Vocal Coaches of NY: The One and Only Guide.”
Eddie has instructed voice students for over twenty years at such institutions as The New School/The Actors’ Studio, NYU, Marymount Manhattan College and Wagner College. He currently teaches both piano and voice to students of every age group in NYC and throughout New Jersey.
